James Hitchcock is a Senior Lecturer in freshwater and marine ecology at the School of Life Sciences, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. His work specialises in revealing how humans are impacting freshwater and marine ecosystems and what we can do to restore and protect them. His current research focuses on coastal food web dynamics, understanding the impacts of coldwater pollution, and floodplain connectivity.
